  • Dr. S. Sivaranjani, Asst. professor, of our department participated in two days National work shop entitled " Training of Teachers For Student Induction Programme" (Deeksharambh - Phase II) on 30th & 31st October was organised by University Grants Commission, South Eastern Regional Office, Hyderabad at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

  • Mrs. A. Indumathi & Dr. R. Kalaivani served as the Resource person & member of Jury Board in assessing the projects of "Veettukku oru vingnani - 2018" program organized by Puthiya Thalaimurai on 21.07.18 at velammal Bodhi campus, Thanjavur on 21.07.18.
  • Mrs. A. Karpagalakshmi attended the workshop entitled "Molecular Biology" on 21st and 22nd July 2018 at Centre for Bioscience & Nanoscience Research, Coimbatore on 21.7.18.
  • The PG & Research Department of Botany & Biotechnology organized guest lecture on "Biotechnology For Enterpreneurship". Et. B. Purushothaman, CEO & Research Director, Periyar Technology Business Incubator, Thanjavur was the resource person. He emphasised the scope and available opportunities for life science graduates in industries as well as to be a entrepreneur on 24.7.18.
  • Dr. R. Kalaivani participated in UBA 2.0 orientation program entitled "Activates Planning for village clusters adopted by participating institutes" at IIT, Madras on 06.08.2018.
