Department of Computer Application
About the Department
"Computer Applications involve the knowledge of abstraction—creating an accurate representation of a problem and devising the right mechanizable techniques to solve it".
The Department of Computer Applications has been functioning in the college since 2004. It is committed to empowering students to contribute to a prosperous society. The department association, BIOS-CA, was established in 2004 and has been functioning successfully ever since. It regularly organizes seminars, conferences, symposiums, and workshops to enhance academic engagement. To bridge the gap between academia and industry, the department offers certificate courses as value additions to the curriculum, aligning with industrial skill sets. Students also gain hands-on experience through internships, fieldwork, and field visits to reputed institutions and companies. Additionally, the department provides training in technological solutions to foster innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among students. The department has earned a reputation for academic excellence, with students securing top ranks at the university level. In the academic year 2023–2024, our students achieved 11 university ranks. Many of our graduates have also secured placements in reputed companies, reflecting the department’s commitment to career readiness and professional success.
